Testing out new physical server backup software. Ran backup yesterday and it completed with warnings. There were about 25 of these:
Failed to read from source at position 361739845632. Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
However, Windows reports no errors, SMART status is fine, Samsung Magician reports no errors (drives are a mix of Samsung SSD and NVMe), and Speccy software also reports no errors.
Also, my Macrium Server Backup software completes without error.
Glitch in the Altaro software? Any ideas?

Hi Sal, by the looks of it from the error you posted, there seems to be an issue when attempting to read from source and Altaro is reporting cyclic redundancy check errors. Whenever we see such an error we usually find something in the Windows System event log, such as 'Disk' events pointing to Bad Blocks.
Did you look into that?
