Microsoft 365 Subscription Plans
The below Microsoft 365 plans have been QA tested and are known to be fully supported:
- Business Basic
- Business Standard
- Business Premium
- E1, E3 and E5
- A1, A3, A5 Faculty and Student Plans
- F3
Microsoft continuously update their list of available subscription plans, so if your plan is not listed above, however supports Exchange/SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams functionality then this should still work but has not yet been fully tested.
If Office 365 plan does not support specific features such as SharePoint or OneDrive, we cannot back up that specific feature from the Backup Source.
Can I schedule backups at a specific time or take manual backups?
TLDR; backups are taken automatically and there is no need to set up schedules or take manual backups on your end. More information can be found here.
How long is the backup data retained?
TLDR; we will retain everything that has been backed up ever since you starting backing up a particular Office 365 Organisation; provided that the account's Subscription is paid and active. More information can be found here.
Where are the backups stored?
Read more on where your backups are stored here.
How is it billed?

Can I archive or delete a backup?
Yes, if you choose [Remove User from Subscription & Delete Backup Data], all data for that user will be completely deleted and you won't be billed for that user any longer. You can also go further and specifically select if you would like Mailbox/OneDrive/Teams Chats/Group Mailboxes/SharePoint Files via the [Advanced Options...]
If you choose [Disable this User], there won't be any further backups for that mailbox thereby archiving it. You will continue to be billed for this user.
Skipped Files
In certain cases items will be skipped during a backup operation and these will get retried multiple times. However in some cases these items are actually returned to us an inconsistent/corrupted when requested from M365. If these items are not backed up for an extended period of time after multiple retries, they will automatically be excluded from backup going forward unless that item is changed/updated.
